Class X students of Holy Mary’s School, Banur, got a rare opportunity to step into the world of research and innovation during their educational tour to the the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali. The visit was filled with excitement, learning, and discovery as students explored various laboratories and interacted with researchers and faculty members. They attended engaging lectures on career opportunities in science and research, gaining valuable insights into how scientific knowledge is applied in real life. The tour gave students a deeper appreciation for the world of science and inspired many to consider future careers in research and innovation. Principal Dr Shiny Devassy expressed pride in the students’ enthusiasm and said, “It’s important for young learners to step outside the classroom walls and understand how the world works. Such experiences help them explore possibilities and make thoughtful decisions about their future paths.”
