In collaboration with The Tribune, Chandigarh, the young subscribers of grades VII-X of St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, were taken for an excursion to Bestech Square Mall, Mohali, for the screening of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ movie. Consumed with joy and curiosity, the buses were abuzz with excitement for a movie day with friends. With popcorn on the left and drinks on the right, the students were in for a three-hour journey of mirthful laughter, moments of introspection and the absorption of a deeper message conveyed so effortlessly by the commendable star cast. The acknowledgement of the need to normalise and include children with Down Syndrome and autism was a subject beautifully brought to the screen through the medium of the cinematic arts.
