Young chess masters of  Om Prakash Bansal Model School, Mandi Gobindgarh, have proved that success stems from patience, strategy and sharp thinking. At the District Chess Championship 2025, students delivered remarkable performances, bringing accolades to the school. Nivransh Bansal and Devarsh Garg, both from Class I A, secured first and second positions, respectively, in the U-7 category. In the U-9 category, Krisha Gupta and Aariv Singla, both from Class III A, claimed first and second positions. Viaan Jindal from Class V B secured second position in the U-11 category. These achievements reflect the students' focus, determination and analytical skills, setting an exemplary standard for their peers under the guidance of their coach Lalit.
