Basant Panchami was celebrated by students and staff of the school. Everybody came together on the auspicious day of Basant Panchami, which also marks the advent of spring season. The colour yellow (basanti), signifying the season of spring, was prevalent in the traditional attires worn by the Vivekians and the teaching fraternity. The entire campus had a festive look and all the decorations and arrangements for the puja were done by the students. They also shouldered the responsibility of all the arrangements for the ‘puja’ as well as distribution of ‘prasad’ under the guidance of their teachers.
