The school hosted a session for its teachers on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Ranjan Sharma, Legal Officer from the Women and Child Development Department, highlighted the importance of POCSO in safeguarding children’s rights. He shared crucial child helpline numbers, emphasising their significance in reporting and addressing cases of child abuse. Sharma stressed that POCSO plays a vital role in protecting children from sexual offenses and ensuring their safety. Gurpreet Singh, a social worker, focused on stress management techniques for educators. Principal Jyoti Nagpal Sethi welcomed the resource persons and presented them with a planter. Teachers actively participated in the discussion, engaging with the resource persons and sharing insights. The session equipped teachers with knowledge and skills to create a safe environment for students.
