The vibrant festival of Teej was celebrated at the school with great enthusiasm and fervour. In a special assembly the event witnessed participation from students of classes Kindergarten to II who performed traditional folk dance Gidha on Punjabi songs. Another dance performance by the students on a Rajasthani song left everyone spellbound. The participants were dressed in traditional attires and looked mesmerising. They also enjoyed swings. A mehendi competition was also organised in which students displayed their artistic flair. The corridors of the school were decorated with bangles, phulkari, swings and traditional motifs reflecting the true spirit of the festival. School Principal Inderjeet Kaur Sandhu sensitised the students about Punjabi culture and added that such programmes are organised to keep the students attached to their culture. School Director Pawandeep Kaur Dil congratulated the students and teachers and extended her blessings to all.
