Sacred Souls’ School, Gharuan, once again became the epicentre of sporting excitement as the Thakur Memorial Tournament advanced into its final stages. The second and third days brought a series of electrifying matches, with teams displaying exceptional skill and determination in their pursuit of a place in the semi-finals. The Thakur Memorial Trophy concluded on a thrilling note, with The Mann School, Delhi, emerging as the champions in the boys' category, and New Public School, Chandigarh, claiming the title in the girls' category. Hosted at The Sacred Souls' School, the event drew an enthusiastic audience and was graced by several distinguished guests. Among them was Sakatar Singh Bal, Joint Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, who delivered an inspiring address to the teams, highlighting the importance of hard work, resilience and sportsmanship both on and off the court. In the boys' category, the first runner-up title was claimed by Central Academy School, Kota, while ITL Public School, Dwarka, claimed the second runner-up position. In the girls' category, Sacred Hearts Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, secured the first runner-up position, while Apex Public school, earned the second runner-up title. Additionally, individual awards recognised outstanding contributions. The highest scorer of the tournament in the girls' category was awarded to Samaira Sahni. In the boys' category, Ayush was honoured as the highest scorer title. The title of Most Valuable Player of the tournament went to Ananya in the girls' category, and Mohammed Sani Gauri in the boys' category. The most promising player of the tournament in the girls' category was Zainab and in the boys' category, it was Aayan Malhotra.
