So many secrets you still keep.
Your waves that rise, your waters fall,
Answer the moon's soft silver call.
You sing in whispers, shout in might,
A tune of peace, a stormy night.
The sailors trust your mighty way,
Through gentle dawns and storms so grey.
The dolphins dance, the corals gleam,
You guard the world of every dream.
Your sands are gold, your pearls so rare,
You hold life's treasures everywhere.
But now your heart is scarred with pain,
By plastic waste and oil's dark stain.
Your beauty fades, your creatures cry,
As humans watch your wonders die.
Forgive us, sea, for what we've done,
Your call has echoed since time begun.
We vow to keep you pure, defend,
And guard your life till time's own end.
O mighty sea, forever free,
You are the soul of Earth and me.
Endless, timeless, strong and whole,
The sea's a mirror of the soul.
