US-based environmentalist and Climate Change Organiser Daniel visited the school on National Girl Child Day. An enriching session was held about conservation of environment synonymous to safeguarding the girl child at the school. Daniel impressed upon preserving the Mother Nature. He sensitised the children to Sustainable Development Goals and deliberated upon the factors which jeopardise the climatic conditions. Parmod Sharma, founder and coordinator of Yuv Satta, an NGO, delivered the importance of the role of youth in safeguarding the girl child and supporting them. On National Girl Child Day, a ‘Girls Parliament’ was launched wherein a girl from every class was chosen to represent the girl community in Parliament. A renowned journalist and the Sahitya Akademi Award winner, Nirupama Dutt, graced the event and talked about the inclusion and equal opportunities for the girl child.
