The Lawrence School, Sanawar, renowned for its academic excellence and holistic development, has become a preferred destination for Bollywood film shoots due to its unique blend of education, environment and heritage. Recently, a three-day film shoot featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan and Sara Arjun took place on campus. During the shoot, Singh interacted with students, while actress Yami Gautam also visited, enjoying the serene surroundings. Headmaster Himmat Singh Dhillon said the campus's unique environment has made it a sought-after destination for the film industry. The school has a long history of attracting Bollywood personalities, including Balraj Sahni, Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, who have sent their children to the school for its academic excellence and nurturing environment.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
