The school marked World Earth Day with a series of engaging and impactful activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility among students. The central attraction of the day was the “Ramp walk with a message”, where students walked the ramp wearing costumes made from recycled waste materials. The celebration continued with poetry recitations and group songs, where students conveyed heartfelt messages about nature, conservation, and the urgency of protecting the environment. The event culminated with a powerful role-play depicting the future of Earth, portraying a grim picture of the environment, if immediate action is not taken. Students from various classes participated in the Green Awards, which recognised and rewarded eco-friendly practices within the classrooms. The Green Gallery Exhibition showcased a stunning array of artefacts, static, and working models, all crafted from recycled waste materials. A special plantation drive was organised by NSS and NCC cadets, who planted saplings around the school campus.
