The Science Department and Grade IV planned the Earth Day Week. Students from Nursery to Class X participated in various activities — ‘Green thumb adventures’ thumb painting for Nursery to UKG; ‘Little hands, big impact’ poem recitation for classes I to III; ‘Small step, big difference’ collage making for classes IV to VI; ‘Earth’s little heroes’ posters on environmentalists for classes VII and VIII; and seminar on the topic ‘Sustainable lifestyle choices for a greener future’ for classes IX and X. A special assembly was conducted to mark the Earth Day celebrations during which the selected students from the activities came up on the stage and gave wonderful performances. It was hosted by two students from Class IX. The stage was well-decorated with the displays like thumb painting, collages and posters. The assembly concluded with the pledge read by the principal and distribution of certificate to best participants.
