Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, organised a tree plantation drive under the Van Mahotsav campaign, reaffirming its strong commitment to environmental conservation. The event was a joint effort by the NSS Wing, Eco Club, and Interact & Early Act Club of the school. The drive was led by Principal Shama Kukkal, who inspired students and staff to actively contribute to a greener planet. A total of 120 saplings were planted across the campus and nearby areas by students and faculty members. This initiative aimed at enhancing green cover and foster environmental awareness among young learners. The school remains dedicated to promoting sustainability and nurturing responsible global citizens.
