Sushila Devi Public School, Patiala, organised various events in the memory of Sushila Devi. School Chairman Kamal Aggarwal, Trustees Kunal Aggarwal and Karan Aggarwal, and Director HK Sandhu were present at the moment. Tributes were paid to Sushila Devi, whose vision was to impart education at the doorsteps of rural area. Chatur Shaloki Geeta and Hanumaan Chalisa were recited. An extensive plantation programme was launched. Kamal Aggarwal, Karan Aggarwal, Kunal Aggarwal, Director, and Principal Rekha Gupta planted plants in the presence of teachers and students. Various activities, such as poem recitation & painting, were also performed by students. The theme was “Save Trees’. Discussions on environmental issues were held. Efforts of the students were highly applauded. The Chairman also appealed to the students and teachers to adopt green ways of life. The programme concluded with the speech of Principal Rekha Gupta. She informed the students about the life and dreams of Sushila Devi.
