Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, hosted a two-day hands-on environmental workshop facilitated by Go Sharpener and led by the renowned environmentalist and conservationist Rakesh Khatri, popularly known as ‘The Nest Man of India’. This enriching session, held exclusively for Grade V students, was designed to instil in young learners a deeper connection with nature and a sense of ecological responsibility. Students were thoughtfully divided into groups of six and provided with eco-friendly nest-making kits, which included sustainable materials, such as coconut shells, jute, and bamboo. Through guided activities, they learnt the art of nest-making and understood the vital role these simple structures play in supporting birdlife amidst growing urbanisation.
