Kids ‘R’ Kids School, Chandigarh, brought its U-13 Soccer League - Season 1 to a triumphant close with a grand finale that celebrated teamwork and sportsmanship. The event was honoured by the presence of Sanjeev Kumar Maria, a former Indian professional footballer, and Bhupinder Kumar, a six-time representative for Chandigarh in the National Football Championship. Their words of wisdom encouraged young players to strive for excellence through discipline, perseverance and a genuine passion for the game. Also present were Anupam Grewal, Director-Principal and Paramdeep Singh Grewal, Administrator, whose support and guidance lent significance to the occasion. The championship match between the school and YPS, Mohali, was a closely contested affair, with both teams displaying remarkable skill, strategy and sportsmanship. YPS Mohali emerged victorious with a thrilling 2-1 win, lifting the Champion's Trophy, while the school secured the first runners-up title. The event concluded on a triumphant note, celebrating not just victory but the true essence of sportsmanship, unity and youthful zeal. The success of Season 1 sets the stage for an even more exciting Season 2 ahead.
