Valley Public School, Panchkula, celebrated the Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev. The special assembly transformed into a sacred and spiritual congregation, radiating peace and divine energy. The celebration started with shabad kirtan by students, followed by the singing of devotional hymns. The celebration concluded with the traditional distribution of 'Karah Prasad'. Dr Umamaheswari, Principal, congratulated the students and staff members, encouraging them to follow the path of truth, kindness and service to humanity.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
