The first week of July was celebrated with great enthusiasm and awareness as part of the month-long Vanmahotsav celebration, a festival that glorifies the importance of trees and their indispensable role in preserving environment. The initiative was led by the Eco Club of the school and reflected collective commitment to a greener and healthier planet. The highlight of the celebration was a plantation drive conducted on the school premises. Principal of the school Sr Siji Issac joined the students in planting saplings, setting a beautiful example of leadership and environmental responsibility. She interacted warmly with the students, sharing valuable insights on the significance of conserving trees and adopting sustainable practices in daily life. Sr Siji emphasised that trees are the lifeline of planet Earth, playing a vital role in maintaining ecological balance, purifying the air, preventing soil erosion, and supporting biodiversity. Her words deeply inspired the students to become more mindful of their environment and take proactive steps in nurturing nature.
