Vedic Week celebrations commenced at DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi, on the auspicious occasion of the Shravani festival. The inaugural ceremony began with a yajna conducted by Acharya Ved Mitra Shastri , who initiated the rituals with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra and Vedic hymns. Principal K. S. Guleria, along with all teachers and students, participated in the yajna. A bhajan sandhya and a spiritual discourse were held, during which Acharya Shastri enlightened the students about the significance of the Shravani festival and the Vedas.
