Vedika wins bronze in gymnastics championship

Vedika Sharma, a Class IX student of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, won a bronze medal at the National Gymnastics Championship held at Dehradun. Guided by her gymnastics coach Gaurav, Vedika’s relentless hard work, discipline and passion for the sport has not only earned her a podium finish but also a coveted spot in the India Camp for the upcoming Asian Championship. Principal Gulshan Kaur congratulated Vedika on her remarkable accomplishment and expressed confidence that she will continue to make the school and nation proud on the gymnastics stage.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
