Vigilance Awareness Week was observed at SD Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, with the theme “Say no to corruption”. The objective of the celebration was to promote integrity and ethical values among students and staff. The celebration began with a pledge ceremony to uphold honesty and fight against corruption. Essay writing, poster making, slogan writing and other events were held focusing on the importance of vigilance and moral responsibility in all walks of life.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
