Holy Mary School, Banur, observed Vishav Punjabi Divas. The celebrations featured a special morning assembly led entirely in Punjabi, showcasing the richness of the language and heritage. Students took the stage with speeches, poems, and songs, all centred around the value of Punjabi as a mother tongue and its role in shaping identity. The programme encouraged the younger generation to cherish their linguistic roots and take pride in their heritage. Principal Dr Shiny Devasia underlined that one’s mother tongue forms the foundation of culture and tradition. She urged students to remain connected to Punjabi and contribute towards its growth and preservation. The event concluded with teachers and students joining voices in honouring the significance of Punjabi and exchanging greetings on Vishav Punjabi Divas.
