The school hosted a prestigious national-level ‘Kavi Manch’. The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by chief guest Brigadier Satish Kumar, accompanied by his wife Pratibha Sharma. The programme began with a beautiful rendition of ‘Saraswati Vandana’ by school students. The ‘Kavi Manch’ drew celebrated poets and lyricists from across the state, with a total of 36 poets representing the Shesh Sahitya Sadan of Paprola. Notable among them were Shakti Chand Rana, a retired headmaster, writer, and lyricist celebrated for his contributions to Hindi, Pahadi, and Punjabi literature, and acclaimed poetess Suresh Lata Awasthi. The event saw an array of performances, with poems that evoked patriotism, deep emotion, and humour. These diverse pieces brought laughter and tears alike, leaving a powerful impact on all present. To add to the vibrant atmosphere, students of the school performed a spectacular Vitthal dance centred around the life of Lord Krishna, which captivated the audience. They also presented their own mini ‘Kavi Manch’, showcasing their poetic prowess in a manner that even caught the attention of the renowned poets present. Another notable performance was an enactment of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago speech, a tribute that resonated with the principles of Viveka Foundations and was met with enthusiastic applause.
