The school commemorated Sikh Environment Day with deep reverence, paying homage to the seventh Sikh Guru, Guru Har Rai. The observance was held under the leadership of Chairman Dr Satnam Singh Nijjar, Chairperson Dr Satinderjit Nijjar, and Principal Dr Ancy. The occasion commenced with a soulful recitation of Sukhmani Sahib, followed by an ‘ardaas’ (prayer) invoking universal harmony and well-being. Addressing the gathering, the school management underscored the imperative of environmental conservation, advocating for afforestation, cleanliness, and a significant reduction in plastic usage. In a pivotal step towards sustainability, the institution also launched a kitchen garden initiative under the governance of Principal Dr Ancy, fostering a culture of self-sufficiency and ecological consciousness among students. On this momentous day, the entire faculty and staff solemnly pledged to contribute to a cleaner, greener future by expanding green cover and renouncing plastic dependency.
