Workshop on ‘English language' at St Thomas School, Shimla

A two-day workshop on ‘English Language Secondary Level’ was organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at the school. As the keynote speaker and resource person, Ravi Sharma, senior English teacher, Army Public School, Dagshai, and Jyotsna, TGT, SST, Government Model Senior Secondary School, Department of School Education, Chandigarh, conducted the two-day workshop. Apart from teachers of St Thomas School, teachers from schools in the surrounding area and teachers from Chandigarh, Haryana also participated in the workshop. As many as 49 teachers from various schools across the region participated in the workshop. Earlier, a one-day workshop on ‘Environmental Studies’ was organised in the school, which was conducted by Vikas Verma and Karan Sood as keynote speakers and resource persons. As many as 59 teachers participated in the workshop. Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty thanked everyone for their cooperation in successfully organising the entire workshop.
