Workshop on Hindi Course B organised

A two-day workshop on Hindi Course B was organised at Mahavir Public School, Sundernagar. A total of 53 teachers participated in the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to introduce teachers to new teaching techniques, assessment process and innovations in speech teaching. Sharmila Bhardwaj (DAV School, Mandi) and Seema Jyoti (Shiva International School, Ghumarvi) were the resource persons. Both of them presented the subject matter in a very simple and effective style. They informed the teachers about the experiential methods in Hindi teaching, activity-based learning and effective ways to maintain the interest of the students. The workshop started with the welcome address by Principal of the school Anuradha Jain. All teachers present in the programme described the session as very useful, inspiring and enlightening. In the question and answer session, the participating teachers enthusiastically presented their curiosities, which were answered in detail by the resource person. At the conclusion of the workshop, the resource person was honoured with a memento. In the end, Principal Anuradha Jain expressed her gratitude to everyone and said, “Hindi is not just a language, it is the soul of our culture; These types of workshops make it more lively”.
