SBR DAV Public School, Talwandi Bhai, organised a special morning assembly to mark World Population Day and Vana Mahotsav. The event featured powerful speeches by students addressing the challenges posed by overpopulation and highlighting the crucial need for tree plantation. A thought-provoking skit was also staged, creatively illustrating the adverse effects of deforestation and rapid population growth. The assembly concluded with a pledge by students and staff to protect the environment and promote sustainable living practices. Principal Jaswinder Kaur, in her address, encouraged students to plant more trees and take responsibility for building a greener future.
