Saanvi Sood, a 10-year-old student of the school, has achieved yet another milestone in her extraordinary journey of mountaineering and adventure. She has been selected for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) for her unparalleled accomplishments in mountaineering. Saanvi was honoured by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in recognition of her remarkable feats, making her one of the 17 exceptional children selected from across the nation. Saanvi, has already etched her name in the record books as the Youngest Kid Mountaineer to scale some of the world’s highest peaks. She has triumphantly hoisted the Indian flag on the Everest Base Camp, Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest peak), Mount Kosciuszko (Australia’s highest peak), and Mount Elbrus (Europe’s highest peak in Russia). Her unyielding spirit and dedication to breaking records have not only earned her a Guinness World Record but have also made her a symbol of courage and determination. In a heartfelt message, Saanvi shared that she is dedicating the prestigious award to the sacrifices made by the four Sahibzaade, as her recognition comes during the month dedicated to honouring them. She expressed her gratitude for receiving the award on Veer Baal Diwas, a day that celebrates the bravery and sacrifice of the young Sahibzaades.
