Growing up and living in Karnal, the land of Daanveer Karna, I often feel connected to his spirit. Karna gave selflessly without any expectations. In my own small way, I try to live up to his legacy – offering kindness in whatever form it is possible.

I am a dog lover, and I never mind going the extra mile for the voiceless animals. Even in the scorching heat, with grocery bags in hand, at times I have stopped to feed street dogs who wait with wagging tails and hopeful eyes. Their silent gratitude and unconditional love touch something deep within me, often filling my heart with generosity that feels almost sacred.

To some people, it may just seem like a simple act of feeding stray dogs. But to me, it’s a reminder that in my city, Karnal, the spirit of Karna still lives on — through compassion, through love... through selfless giving.
