I shifted to Panchkula from Delhi more than a decade back. After coming from the polluted environs of Delhi, Panchkula has kept me happy and healthy because of its green surroundings and clean air.

Panchkula is a serene town, enjoying the scenic beauty of Shivalik Hills on one side and of Morni Hills on the other. It is also famous for Mata Mansa Devi Temple and has Asia’s largest cactus garden.

But the presence of a large number of well-maintained public parks in each sector is a boon for its health-conscious citizens for their morning or evening walk and yoga practice. People also use these public parks for holding social gatherings and other get-togethers.

The Residents Welfare Associations in Panchkula, too, make full use of these parks to hold Republic Day celebrations and celebrate other national festivals.

I feel lucky and blessed to live in a city where its clean air is worth breathing and causes no breathing problems.
