3 dead, 1 injured as car falls into river in Shimla district 

Three persons were killed and one other injured after the car they were travelling in plunged into the Pabber river in Rohru subdivision of Shimla district.

The deceased have been identified as Vishal Thakur, Abhay Khandiyan and Himanshu, while the injured has been identified as Harsh Chauhan, all residents of the Chirgaon area of the district.

According to reports, the accident took place around 12 am today when the driver lost control of the car and it veered off the road and plunged into the river. As a result, three of them died on the spot while one sustained minor injuries as he fell out of the car.

The police team reached the spot as soon as it received the information and took out the bodies.

The bodies were then taken to Civil Hospital, Rohru, where postmortem would be conducted.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Rohru, Pranav Chauhan confirmed the report and said further investigation was going on.
