2-day golf meet ended

Chandigarh, February 9

The two-day Maharaj Krishan Juniors Golf Tournament concluded at the Chandigarh Golf Club, on Sunday. In the category-A (16-18), Subash Tamang won the first position with a score of 154, while in the girl’s category Himanshika Sehgal (163) claimed the title. In the category-B (14-16) Hartej Singh.(155) and Ira Jamwal (186) won titles, while in category C (12-14) Samar Sandhu (158) and Simar Bal(197) closed the day with the titles. Neil Jolly (165) and Guntas Kaur Sandhu (183) were the winners of boys and girls category D (10-12), respectively.

In category E (8-10) and F (below 8years) played nine holes on each day. Sahraab Talwar (75) and Gairat Kaur Kahlon (125) topped the category E, and Kairav Singh (66) and Ojaswini Saraswat (78) topped the category F. A putting contest was also held on the side and was won by Ikam Jot and Joban.

The youngest participant, three-year-old Nihaal Singh was awarded with a special prize for playing all nine holes with a laudable score. Anupinder Singh Grewal, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court, awarded the winners.
