U-17 coach Ambrose sacked for ‘sexual misconduct’
Indian women’s U-17 team’s assistant coach Alex Ambrose has been sacked for alleged sexual misconduct, SY Quraishi, a member of the Committee of Administrators overseeing the All India Football Federation, said. Former India international Ambrose was earlier called back from Norway for “misconduct” with a player during a training and exposure tour.

Groenewegen takes Stage 3 of Tour de France
Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen of Team BikeExchange-Jayco clinched the third stage of the Tour de France as Wout van Aert took second place to retain the overall leader’s yellow jersey. Groenewegen was suspended for nine months in 2020 for causing the crash that severely injured Fabio Jakobsen at the Tour of Poland. Jakobsen won Saturday’s Stage 2.
