Ankur-Solanki in wrestling final

Haryana’s Ankur will face SG Solanki of Ahmadabad in the 57kg final of the All India Civil Services Wrestling Competition, organised by UT Sports Department in association with All India civil Services Sports Control Board, at the Mani Majra Sports Complex.
In semifinals, Ankur defeated Neeraj Kumar and Solanki outplayed Ramchandra. In the 61kg final, Haryana’s Sandeep will play against Mohd Sidiqqui of Telengana.
In today’s bouts, Sandeep defeated Shiraj and Sidiqqui outclassed Sambhu(Jaipur).
Another Haryana’s wrestler Rajinder reached in the final of the 65kg and will be facing Delhi’s Virender Singh. Rajinder defeated Dharam Singh of Telangana, while Virender Singh blanked Arun Bhai of Guajrat to move into the finals. In the 70kg semis, Kuldeep defeated Rohtash of Delhi and Pawan beat Chandermal of Jaipur. Krishan of Haryana and Manjeet of Faridabad reached into the 79kg final. Krishan defeated Sunil of Uttar Pradesh and Manjeet defeated Rohit of Dehi. Kulbir of Haryana defeated Rahul in the 86kg category, while in the second semi Jaibir thrashed MA Jadeja of Ahmadabad. M Shekhar of Telangana defeated Sanjay Kumar of Himachal Pradesh and Pardeep Kumar of Haryana thrashed Pavan Dhama of Jaipur in 92kg semifinals, Around 125 bouts were fought in different weight categories. The competition was inaugurated by Director Sports Tejdeep Singh Saini along with Ravinder Singh, District Sports Officer, Darshan Lal and Safri Lal, Senior Wrestling Coaches.
