Vesely beats Berankis to enter Tata Open final

Jiri Vesely saved four match points before prevailing over Ricardas Berankis to storm into the singles final of the Tata Open Maharashtra. Vesely eked out a sensational come-from-behind 6-7 (8) 7-6 (3) 7-6 (7) win against the Lithuanian in a match that lasted three hours and two minutes.

Lahiri tied-89th, Atwal tied-75th after Round 2

Anirban Lahiri shot a 1-under 71 in the second round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Spyglass Hill. It took him to even par for 36 holes and tied-89th place with the third round at Monterrey Peninsula which has yielded low scores. Arjun Atwal shot a 67 on par-71 Monterey Peninsula following up on his 75 to get to 142, which is now 1-under total and he is tied-75th. The cut will be applied after 54 holes at which point all players would have played once on each of the three courses being used this week. Nick Taylor birdied four times in last five holes for a 66 to take the lead.
