Hosts India scooped up eight medals — 1 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze — at the Asian Track Cycling Championships on the second day here today.

India have won 18 medals in the senior, junior and para events.

India bagged 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in the para events, while 2 silver and 3 bronze medals were won by the senior and junior cyclists, respectively.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
