Daniil Medvedev eases through

Daniil Medvedev defeated Miomir Kecmanovic 6-0 6-3 to reach the quarterfinals of the Adelaide International.

The former world No. 1 had got his third victory in three games against the 29th-ranked Serbian. The third seed will face fellow Russian Karen Khachanov for his spot in the semifinals. — AP

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
