Rahil Gangjee shot a 3-under 69 on the final day to finish tied-40th in the Dunlop Phoenix Open. Gangjee finished at 2-under. Takumi Kanaya won the title on the fourth playoff hole after two players totalled 13-under.

Haaland gets four in Dortmund’s 5-2 win
Erling Haaland scored four goals and Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest player in Bundesliga history as Borussia Dortmund beat Hertha Berlin 5-2 to move second. The buildup had been all about Moukoko, who was eligible for his debut after turning 16 on Friday. But Haaland stole the show on a cold night before making way for the youngster’s debut in the 85th minute. Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich fought back to draw with Werder Bremen 1-1 as their nine-game winning run across all competitions ended.

Hansen claims maiden European Tour win
Denmark’s Joachim Hansen carded a bogey-free final round of 67 to claim his maiden win on the European Tour with a two-shot victory in the Joburg Open. The 30-year-old had been tied with overnight leader Wilco Nienaber (69) at 19 under, but when the South African bogeyed the final two holes, Hansen kept his cool to claim the trophy.

Local favourite Oliveira wins Portuguese MotoGP race
KTM Tech 3 rider Miguel Oliveira dominated his home MotoGP race from start to finish to win the season-ending Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimao’s Algarve International Circuit. Petronas Yamaha’s Franco Morbidelli finished third to seal second place in the riders’ championship behind Suzuki’s Joan Mir. Ducati clinched the constructors’ title. Agencies
