IOA in dialogue with IOC about hosting Olympics

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) is in active dialogue with the Future Host Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) regarding the country’s bid to host the Olympic Games in 2036.

“The IOA is in active dialogue with the Future Host Commission of the IOC regarding hosting the 2030 Youth Olympics and the 2036 Olympic Games in India as per the vision of the Prime Minister,” IOA president PT Usha said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
