Budapest: Indian wrestler Jaskaran Singh (60kg category) settled for a silver medal while Chirag (51kg) and Jaideep (71kg) bagged a bronze each at the Cadet World Championship here today. On Tuesday, Aman Gulia (48kg) and Sagar Jaglan (80kg) became world champions. In the women’s competition, Tannu (43kg) and Priya (73kg) reached the final.

11 Haryana women boxers storm into semifinals

Sonepat: Haryana’s women boxers ruled the roost at the 4th youth national championship with 11 reaching the semifinals. Gitika (48kg), Tamanna (50kg), Neeru (52kg), Neha (54kg), Preeti (57kg), Preeti Dahiya (60kg), Khushi (63kg), Lashu Yadav (70kg), Saneha (75kg), Nidhi (81kg) and Deepika (+81kg) entered the last-4.
