Third T20I: Jos powers England chase
Ahmedabad, March 16
Jos Buttler struck a stunning 83 off 52 balls as England romped to an eight-wicket win over India in the third T20 International to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Chasing a relatively modest 157 for victory, England completed the win for the loss of only two wickets, with 10 balls to spare.
Kohli’s knock
Earlier, Kohli rose above an ordinary batting performance by his team as India added 69 runs in the last five overs to move from a shaky 87/5 in 15 overs to a relatively respectable 156.
Kohli made an unbeaten 77 off 46 balls, picking up hostile fast bowler Mark Wood for some special treatment in the 18th over. — TNS, agencies
