New Delhi, November 12

Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev, who suffered a heart attack last month, today got back on the golf course three weeks after undergoing emergency angioplasty.

The 61-year-old underwent an angioplasty last month after complaining of uneasiness and pain in the chest, following which he was rushed to a hospital late at night.

Kapil today posted a video of himself hitting a tee shot at the Delhi Golf Club, and saying that ‘that’s what life is all about’.

“You can’t express in words what fun it is to be back on the golf course or a cricket ground. It is beautiful to be back at the golf course, having fun and playing with friends. That’s what life is all about,” Kapil said.

Kapil had got back home after a couple of days in hospital, and had said that he would like to be back playing golf as soon as doctors allowed him. Kapil has been a very keen amateur golfer after retiring from international cricket. — TNS
