Kashmir two good for Aizawl
Aizawl, February 1
A goal on either side of half-time helped Real Kashmir beat former champions Aizawl FC 2-0 in an I-League clash here today.
Kallum Higginbotham opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute. Mason Robertson completed the tally in the 82nd minute.
It was Real’s second consecutive win, which moved them to the fifth spot in the standings with 12 points from eight matches.
Aizawl, who lost their sixth match in a row, are 10th in the standings. They are yet to win at home this season.
EB lose to Indian Arrows
Kalyani (West Bengal): East Bengal were stunned by AIFF’s developmental outfit Indian Arrows here today. Vikram Partap Singh struck the only goal of the match against the run of play, giving the Arrows the lead in the 58th minute.
With the win, the Arrows snapped a hat-trick of losses but remained at the bottom of the table. East Bengal were pushed down to the sixth spot by Real Kashmir. — PTI
