Real Kashmir bounced back from two consecutive defeats to beat Indian Arrows by a solitary goal to remain in the top half of the I-League standings here today.

Ivorian midfielder Bazie Armand scored the all-important goal in the 70th minute to the celebration of over 10,000 home team supporters at the picturesque TRC Ground here.

Real Kashmir, who lost to Punjab FC and Churchill Brothers — both away games — in their previous two matches, now have 18 points from 12 games to occupy the fifth spot in the table, while The Indian Arrows remained at the bottom with eight points from 13 games.

“It was an important game as we being critisized a lot for our playing style. Today was an important game and we are happy to get three points. We look forward to the match against Aizwal FC. It will be a tough but we are ready to face all challenges,” Real Kashmir coach David Robertson said after the match.
