Batting first, Punjab put up a decent total with captain Mandeep Singh (81), Gurkeerat Singh Mann (65) and Anmolpreet Singh (45) making sure the hosts’ shaky start did not let the momentum go away. Delhi used five bowlers and all of them got wickets but Kunwar Bhiduri was the most successful. The medium-pacer returned figures of 3/62. At stumps, Akul Pandove (12) and Arshdeep Singh (3) were holding the fort for the home team.
