Bipin Singh scored in the dying moments of the Indian Super League (ISL) final to power Mumbai City to a 2-1 victory over ATK Mohun Bagan. With the thrilling win, Mumbai City marched to their maiden ISL title.

Mumbai are only the second team, after Bengaluru FC in 2018-19, to finish on top of the league and win the final in the same season.

Mohun Bagan had taken the lead in the 18th minute when Roy Krishna stole the ball from Ahmed Jahouh and David Williams slotted the ball in. The lead lasted around 11 minutes, and it was an own-goal by Mohun Bagan that allowed Mumbai City to catch up at 1-1. A goal kick was headed past his own goalkeeper by Jose Luis Espinosa Arroyo (Tiri).

The two teams fought hard for the winner until the 90th minute, when Bartholomew Ogbeche robbed the ball off Bagan goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya, who had advanced far from the goalline, and passed it to Bipin Singh, who slotted the ball in. — TNS
