OYA Autocross, Motocross & Off-Roading from Feb 8

The Old Yadavindrian Association (OYA) will conduct the 9th OYA Autocross, Motocross & Off-Roading challenge at PUDA Ground (Phase VIII) from February 8 to 9.

The event will be organised four wheelers, two wheelers and 4×4 vehicles categories, including INAC-1(Unrestricted 2WD), INAC-1 (Unrestricted 4WD), INAC-2 (Modified 2WD Category- Normally Aspirated- Turbo- Petrol/Diesel), INAC-3 (Pro-Stock 2WD/4WD- Petrol, INAC-4), Amateur Stock (2WD/4WD Category-Petrol) and Motocross (Open class for India as well as imported bikes).

According to the organisers, this year’s edition will witness all autocross, motocross and off-roading events conducted at the same time in different areas.The event is expected to witness participation from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

“This event has been organised since 2009, and has a great charm among young motorsports players. The event is more about testing your driving skills on different terrain and learning technical aspects in the form of sport, said Kushal Pal Singh Mann, President (OYA). “Motorsports also encourage team spirit and keep a positive attitude to meet the timing. We are back with our 9th edition, of OYA Autocross, with more thrill and challenges. I would also like to extend my gratitude to media fraternity that always showers their support to make the event a success.”

“It’s an appreciable step by the organisers to have a twin dirt track having hurdles like cross over, undulating, underpass and bridge. With the availability of more space this year as the off-roading track is also been included, two vehicles can race at the same time. The laser live timing system is another catch of the event, which will facilitate the fans to check the results on the internet. Additionally, there will be an open category race for women and especially abled players. Overall, it will be a great platform to perform,” said Deepam Prajapati, one of the contestants.
