Captain Parvez Rasool bagged a match haul of 12/73 as Jammu and Kashmir thrashed Tripura by 329 runs in their Ranji Trophy Group C match. Apart from his exploits with the ball, Rasool also scored 17 and 56 in the two innings to help his side gain six points. Set an improbable target of 449 to win, Tripura were skittled out for 119, with Rasool finishing with 5/28.

For Tripura, Manisankar Murasingh picked up 4/100 and 6/64 to register his maiden 10-wicket haul and scored 25 and 58, but the lack of support meant he ended on the losing side. The win took J&K to 39 points from eight matches and in contention for qualification for the knockout phase from the group.
Himachal trailing by 238 runs
New Delhi: Arindam Ghosh’s unbeaten 204 helped Railways pile up 545/7 before declaring with a lead of 262 against HP. Bowled out for 283 in their first innings, HP were 24/0 at stumps, still trailing by 238 runs.
