Snow Leopards look to find their roar against Arrows

After being pushed to the eighth spot, Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will be looking forward to making full use of the home conditions and turn their fortunes in a crucial I-League game against Indian Arrows tomorrow. A win against the visitors would help RKFC, nicknamed the Snow Leopards, climb up to the fifth position.
RKFC head coach David Robertson said the players were happy to be back home after playing five away games. “After five away games, we need to get the start in the first 10-15 minutes,” Robertson said.
“Players are excited to be back. They love playing here. It’s a full house (expected at TRC Turf Ground)… lot of people… they get behind the players,” Robertson told reporters here today.
Players of both the teams were seen practising hard at the TRC Turf Ground, which has been witnessing huge rush of football lovers whenever a match has been played during the past two seasons.
S Venkatesh, head coach of the Indian Arrows, said he was happy to see a good football culture here and that they were looking forward to tomorrow’s game.
“Football culture is good here and we are excited to play against Real Kashmir. We look forward to playing good football. Yes, we lost against Real Kashmir at home… (but) that was a different situation. Tomorrow will be different,” he said.
Losses in the previous games against Churchill Brothers and Punjab FC pushed the home team to the eighth spot in the standings with 15 points from 11 matches. — TNS
