Members of the Coaching Federation in Jalandhar on Friday put forth a demand before the state government seeking a plan for restarting Punjab’s entrance exam for admission in MBBS in the medical colleges of the state.

The coaching institutes have demanded that there must be a state-specific medical examination in Punjab due to low success rate in NEET. They said since NEET is a single exam, failing it meant that a candidate loses a full year and cannot perform again until the next year.
